Wedding photography Northern Ireland. Orlock Point, Donaghadee, Co. Down with Julian & Cathy. Pre-wedding shoot.
We are blessed with some fine scenery in Ireland with Northern Ireland having more than it’s fair share of varied and changeable beauty from one county to the next.
Orlock point overlooks Belfast Lough towards the Antrim coast and was the perfect setting for a relaxed stroll and a few intimate laughs. Engagement or pre-wedding shoots as I like to call them can be a great way to encourage a couple to relax in front of the camera and for me as photographer to probe a little bit and look for some clues on their personalities.
Due to the fact that there is nothing else going on at the time there will of course be a little more direction and maybe even some gentle guidance on posing than you might find on a typical wedding day where about 80% of my shots will be from a camera unaware point of view. It’s a good way to get couples excited about their photography too.
